When did you know you were in love vs just comfortable?

I've been with my partner for a year and I can't figure out if what I feel is love or just comfort/routine. He's kind, reliable, and we get along great. But I don't feel that "butterflies" feeling everyone talks about. Is that even real after the honeymoon phase? When did you KNOW it was love and not just convenience?
