How do you bring up exclusivity without sounding desperate?

Been dating this guy for about 2 months. We see each other every weekend, he's met some of my friends, and the chemistry is amazing. But we haven't had "the talk" yet. I'm not seeing anyone else but I have no idea if he is. Every time I try to bring it up I chicken out because I don't want to seem clingy or desperate. How did you all approach this conversation? I need a script lol.
