I'm so tired of being told I'm "too picky"

Every time I tell someone why I ended things with a guy, the response is always "you're too picky" or "nobody's perfect." I'm not asking for perfection! I'm asking for someone who texts me back, keeps plans, and doesn't still have Tinder installed on their phone while we're dating. These are BASIC requirements. Why does having standards make me "picky"? I'd rather be alone than settle for someone who makes me feel lonely in a relationship.
